It is indeed possible to isolate the effecte on selected factors if the field experiments are statistically designed . ANOVA techniques and regression analysis as also the factor analysis will help in conducting empirical OB studies. We must not include too much past data in the sample. As a managment & Corporate consultant I have done work in this area and willing to share with those keenly interested.
